Although we need the moisture, Emerson and I are OVER the snow. We want a little sunshine!! We had 11" of snow on Monday and it just keeps falling today.
A glimpse into the day to day routine, social awkwardness, and simple life of the typical girl next door . . .who likes to rock out. . . and talk about babies.

Slight Setback
Over the last few weeks we have made a lot of progress on our deck, but last weekend we had a slight set back--16 inches of snow, to be exact.
It has been freezing cold, so there is still a ton of snow on the ground. Next weekend is our last big push before our deadline, so start praying for warmer weather and NO MORE SNOW (at least in Denver) until March. Needless to say, we will be working INSIDE the house this weekend. Josh has been preparing a list of jobs to keep us all on task. It should be exciting. . . and exhausting.

Drip, Drip, Drop, Little April. . . Snowstorm
Since today is cold and icy I started thinking about Josh's grandparents trip to Antarctica. In December, they jumped on an ice breaker boat and visited the one continent most of us will never see in real life. Their pictures were beautiful. This is them (Bob & Louise). Bad ass, huh?
While browsing through thier pictures again, I couldn't help but notice that some of seals had a striking resemblance to my dogs. See for yourself.

SNOW DAY!!!!!
Last Thursday we had a monster spring blizzard that resulted in the one of the rarest, most coveted, awesomest of all events: the SNOW DAY. Once Josh was home safe from work we spent the day watching movies, eating rice crispy treats, drinking wine, and watching Man Tracker. We had never seen Man Tracker before, but once we realized that the entire show was based around one old guy on a horse basically hunting a young couple hiking through the canadian forest we were hooked. I don't even know what channel it was on, I think it was the Science Channel?? I really wasn't paying attention, but if you ever catch it, you're in for a treat.
In the end, we got more than a foot of snow in our backyard. The dogs loved it! Here are a few pictures from the day following the blizzard.
