Josh and I are gearing up to head to Maui. Even though it is just a short vacation, I'm really looking forward to it! I can't wait to share pictures and stories when I get back. Until then, here is a funny video to keep you entertained. Cheers!
A glimpse into the day to day routine, social awkwardness, and simple life of the typical girl next door . . .who likes to rock out. . . and talk about babies.

The Key to My Heart is My Belly
Quick follow-up. Remember how I told you all Josh was going to cook me dinner for Valentine's Day? Well, he did and it was A-MAZ-ING! He really out-did himself. We had a five course dinner that went something like this. . .
1. Fresh salad with strawberries, bleu cheese, baslamic dressing and scotch-candied walnuts (he candied the walnuts himself--I was impressed)
2. Pan-seared sea scallops with a lemon-butter sauce (very tender and scrumptious)
3. Lobster Mac n Cheese with panko breading (there was enough I got to have more for dinner the next night, yum!)
4. Peppercorn-encrusted filets with a brandy/peppercorn cream sauce (my all-time favorite)
5. Bruleed strawberries and bananas with vanilla gelato (the perfect sweet bite)
To top it all off, we enjoyed some wine we brought back from Napa, Summers Estate Checkmate. It was divine. Did I mention that I love my husband? In exchange for a delicious meal, I gave him two tickets to Opening Day. I'm hoping he will take me as his date. I have a pretty good feeling he will.

I'm Beautiful Inside
Well, at least that is what the FOR SALE sign says in front of our house. Yes, you read that right--our house is on the market! After a lot of chatter, we finally pulled the trigger. Keep your fingers crossed that it goes fast and for a great price. I got a little teary as Josh hammered in the sign, but I'm also very excited to move onward and upward. We will start looking at places to buy soon. We are still working on narrowing down the neighborhoods we are interested in moving to. . . or staying in.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Hello, Darlings! I hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day. Josh and I are planning a romantic dinner at home tonight. Josh makes the BEST Valentine's meals. I can't wait to see what he cooks up. We are getting ready to put our house on the market at the end of this month, so this could potentially be our last Valentine's meal in our house. I'm excited about looking for a new place, but it makes me a little sad to leave our first real home together. Hopefully tonight will be a good memory to stash away.
I hope you all get to cuddle with someone you love tonight!
