Yay Spring!!

Today is the official First Day of Spring!  Finally!!  I have been really emotional lately (you know--because of the whole baby thing), any way, I woke up a few weeks ago crying.  When Josh checked on me and asked why, I replied, "I just want it to be spring!"  Yeah, that happened.

The forecast is calling for weather in the upper 70's this weekend, so get out there and enjoy it!

A Little Catch Up

Hello again.  I guess it has been a while since my last post.  Sorry about that.  Josh and I have been busy finishing up little projects and unpacking our boxes.  It has been fun re-discovering all of our old stuff again!

I have also been busy growing a little baby.  Here is a short recap of the last few months.

After staring at little strips of paper for a few days trying to determine whether or not we saw two pink lines, I broke down and got a digital test.  On December 7th we knew those pink lines weren't figments of our imagination and a little baby was on the way!

The first six weeks were great.  I was on cloud nine.  I felt great and we got our first glimpse of the baby (a very tiny first glimpse).  Here I am at 4 weeks.

Here is the baby at 6 weeks and 9 weeks

Right around 7 weeks, the morning sickness hit me hard.  I felt like I was hung-over ALL DAY LONG.  It was rough, but I knew the worse I felt, the stronger the baby was getting, so even though I complained--a lot--it was okay.  Now I'm finally feeling better.  It only took about 10 weeks--ay yi yi.

I didn't take many pictures during the first trimester.  I don't think I really started looking pregnant until about 12 weeks.  It wasn't too noticeable at first, but things are really starting to shape up if you know what I mean.

13 Weeks--Happy to hit the 2nd trimester.
14 Weeks--Happy Valentine's Day!
15 Weeks--The belly seemed to really pop this week.
16 Weeks--Stanley lost two pounds.  I gained at least two pounds that week.
17 Weeks--Right after the Runnin' of the Green downtown.  I did the 2.2 mile walk.
18 Weeks--Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I can't believe we are so close to the halfway mark!  Time is just flying by.  By this time next week, we should know if we are having a little boy or a little girl.  Josh and I can't wait!!  Hopefully he or she isn't too shy.
